FAQs
Do you provide the hair for braiding services?
Yes. For most braiding services, braiding hair is included to ensure consistent quality, proper density, and a polished finish. If a specific color or texture is requested, details will be discussed during booking.
How long do protective styles typically last?
With proper maintenance, most styles last 6–8 weeks. Longevity depends on your natural hair, lifestyle, and aftercare. Hair-health education and maintenance tips are provided to help you protect your natural hair between appointments.
What is your cancellation and rescheduling policy?
All appointments require a non-refundable deposit. Rescheduling must be done within the stated time frame outlined at booking. Same-day cancellations or no-shows may result in loss of booking privileges. This policy protects time reserved exclusively for you.
Do you work with all hair types and textures?
Yes. Services are designed for a variety of textures; however, not every service is suitable for every hair condition. If you have concerns such as thinning, excessive shedding, or scalp conditions, a consultation is recommended to ensure the safest option for your hair.
Do I need to come with my hair washed and blow-dried?
Yes. Clients must arrive with clean, thoroughly detangled hair. If you prefer a hands-off experience, a wash, blow-dry, and treatment add-on is available and strongly recommended for the best results and longevity.
Are your braiding styles tight?
No. Proper tension is a priority. All styles are installed with comfort and hair integrity in mind. If you experience discomfort during your service, adjustments are made immediately.
Do I need a certain length of hair to receive braiding services?
Yes. Your natural hair must be at least 4 inches long to safely and securely install braids. This length allows for proper grip, clean parts, and tension that protects the integrity of your natural hair. Clients with shorter hair may be referred to alternative styles or advised to wait until sufficient length is achieved.
